Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled and motivated
Electrical Engineer
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects across commercial, and industrial sectors. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives

Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and compliance

Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and recommend improvements
Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
-
Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles
-
Flexibility to work out of hours (OOH) when project requirements demand
-
ECS Gold card holder is a must
-
Testing experience (2391 preferred but not essential)
-
Troubleshooting & fault finding experience
-
Experience of maintaining electrical equipment (routine maintenance)

A good understanding of 3 Phase and Single Phase pumps and motors
-
A good understanding of commercial and domestic heating control wiring
-
BMS experience (preferred but not essential)
-
Experience in the Installation of containment systems (tray, basket, ladder and metal conduit)
-
Extensive knowledge of the BS 7671 wiring regulations
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams

Full UK driver's license as site visits may be required
Desirable (But Not Essential)

First Aid certification

Experience in a lead Electrican role

Typical shifts may include 07:30 - 16:30 or 16:00 - 01:00 depending on project needs
