NPS Engineering Group is a family-owned manufacturing business, founded in 1987. NPSEG has established itself as a market leader in chemical dosing, booster systems, GRP and Fabrication projects. Based in Bradford over two manufacturing sites, NPSEG employs over 85 people and is committed to quality manufacturing. A full solution is provided, from design through to commissioning.

Due to growth, we now have an opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer / Electrician to join our team.

A bit about what you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure workflow of a product is to schedule by following the published production plan
  • Manufacture items as drawn to ensure commercial accuracy and maintain efficiency
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and report to team leader
  • 1st and 2nd fix accessories and building services
  • Cable containment
  • Installation of cable tray, dividers, turning and conduit
  • Earth wiring, bonding and testing
  • Wiring to 18th edition reg BS7671
  • Wiring from block cable diagrams
  • Operate any vehicle or company equipment in a safe manner and in line with any published SOPs
  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
  • Assist team leader to participate in an efficient workshop that complies with regulatory requirements, ensure equipment is calibrated and safe

What we are looking for:

  • Proven workshop experience
  • Good organisational skills & ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload
  • Ideally, you will have worked in a similar engineering / manufacturing environment previously
  • English literacy
  • Ability to work flexible hours and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Technical degree or certification
