Job description
Standish Energy are an Electrical Contractors based in Standish Wigan. The business is built on reputation and personal commitment to our clients by offering them the service that they demand and we are looking to recruit an Electrician to join our team.

We complete all types of Electrical Installations including Domestic, Commercial and Industrial. As part of the growth strategy we are looking to add two further electricians to the team. Our clients include shopping centres, public buildings, nhs, councils and social housing properties, industrial estate maintenance, reactive and planned maintenance to commercial premises to name a few

Role Overview

• Plan and prioritise your work load from a schedule of job tickets,
• To ensure that tasks are planned and delivered to client specification.
• Be able to achieve a high quality of workmanship
• Willing to work on your own or as part of a team within given timescales
• You will be confident in carrying out reactive and responsive repairs to domestic and commercial properties,
• Electrical Installation work to all internal and external client properties, ensuring that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for safety, quality and productivity.
• Work in a professional manor when liaising with client
• We offer a wide range of non repetitive work schemes which include corporate and public buildings maintenance , installation and compliance testing
• A full driving licence will be required.

Working Coverage

• Whilst our office is based in Standish our client base means that we have engineers covering and an area across the north west although a high percentage of our work is based in the Wigan area at present.
• Your main area of coverage would be within these areas

Essential

• Driving Licence
• 18th Edition
• NVQ level 3
• 2391 Testing and Inspection

Desirable

• IPAF/PASMA
• SOLAR PV EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Salary is based on £17 - £20 per hour on a 40 hour week. There is scope for additional overtime along with being placed on the call out rota
