We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician/Approved Electrican to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities

• Installing wiring, lighting, and electrical systems in new and existing structures
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently and safely
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Reading technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan installations or repairs
• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical and safety regulations
• Using hand tools and power tools to complete tasks accurately and safely
• Documenting work performed and reporting on any issues or hazards identified during inspections
• Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work
• Extensive electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring, circuits, and safety procedures
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
• Current ECS Grade card required
• Valid UK driving licence is required for site visits and transportation of equipment

Pay: £19.00-£24.00 per hour
