Overview

We are seeking experienced and reliable Electricians to join our team working on fast-track retail fit-out projects, including both new builds and refurbishments across the UK.

This role requires individuals who are capable of working efficiently to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installations in line with current regulations and project specifications
• Working on retail fit-outs including lighting, power, containment, and distribution systems
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timeframes
• Identifying and reporting defects or issues to site management
• Maintaining safe working practices and complying with all Health & Safety requirements
• Assisting with material management and notifying supervisors of shortages
• Coordinating with site managers, other trades, and subcontractors as required
• Supporting testing and commissioning where required

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Valid ECS / JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Proven experience in commercial or retail fit-out environments
• Ability to work nationwide and stay away when required
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Typical Working Hours

• Standard working hours are typically 10–12 hours per shift, depending on project requirements
• Work may include day shifts, night shifts, and weekend work to meet fast-track programme deadlines
• Flexibility is essential due to the nature of retail fit-out projects, including out-of-hours working in live environments
• Travel time and site locations will vary depending on project allocation

Holiday Entitlement

• 20 days annual leave
• Plus Bank Holidays
