Overview

An electrician is responsible for ensuring that electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. They work with wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment, following safety standards and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
• Work on new construction, renovations, or maintenance projects
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals
