Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our production facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical systems are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ITI certification or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and production staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain records of all electrical work performed and prepare reports as required.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Assist in planning and implementing electrical projects and upgrades.

KPI Measurements:

• Maintenance Efficiency: Percentage of scheduled maintenance tasks completed on time.
• Downtime Reduction: Reduction in equipment downtime due to electrical issues.
• Response Time: Average response time to electrical emergencies or breakdowns.
• Compliance Rate: Adherence to safety standards and electrical codes during inspections.
• Repair Quality: Number of repeat issues within a specified period, indicating the quality of repairs.
• Project Completion: Timely completion of electrical projects and upgrades within budget.
