ELECTRICIAN

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Number of Positions: 3
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrician in industrial, construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar environments.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Test electrical systems and components using appropriate tools and instruments.
• Support shutdown, turnaround, and project activities as required.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, and distribution equipment.
• Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic instruments.
• Understanding of safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements

• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial site conditions.
• Valid certifications/licenses related to electrical work will be an advantage.
