Electrician

Job Summary

To efficiently perform installation & commissioning of electrical installations within KDD in accordance with KDD as well as international standards and norms.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure efficient execution of electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and validation activities in compliance with KDD and international standards.
• Deliver high-quality installation of electrical systems including LV/HV systems, control panels, fire alarm, network, and control wiring within project timelines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment in accordance with HSE regulations of KDD and the State of Kuwait.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability in cable termination, tray installation, field wiring, and panel assembly activities.
• Support smooth project execution through effective coordination with project teams and other technical disciplines.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed as per management instructions and operational requirements.
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of control panels and electrical systems.
• Carry out cable tray installation, cable routing, termination, and field wiring for LV, HV, fire alarm (FA), network, and control systems.
• Assemble, install, and assist in commissioning electrical and control panel boards as per project specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for proper execution of work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Adhere strictly to HSE policies, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times.
• Provide technical support to team members and assist in resolving site-related electrical issues when required.
• Follow all management instructions and support operational requirements as needed.
  
  

Education Diploma / ITI in Electrical domain.

Professional experience (years) 15+.

Professional background Basic knowledge of MS office programs-Proficient Knowledge of HV, LV, FA & Control Systems Installation & Testing.
