Electrician and Plumber

A Plumber cum Electrician job involves installing, maintaining, and repairing both electrical systems (wiring, fixtures, panels) and plumbing systems (pipes, drains, fixtures) in residential or commercial settings, troubleshooting faults, ensuring safety compliance with codes, and often performing general maintenance, requiring skills in both trades, blueprint reading, and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Duties:
• Install, repair, and maintain wiring, outlets, lighting, circuit breakers, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults like power outages, short circuits, and faulty wiring.
• Inspect systems for safety and compliance with electrical codes.
• Plumbing Duties:
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, drainage, sewage systems, and fixtures (faucets, toilets, water heaters).
• Fix leaks, clear clogs, and perform general plumbing upkeep.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
• General & Safety:
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
• Assist with minor carpentry or mechanical tasks.
• Manage materials and report needed repairs.
