Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, servicing, and repair works including wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, power outlets, and related components.
- Detect electrical malfunctions and carry out systematic troubleshooting to restore safe and dependable system functionality.
- Install, examine, and maintain plumbing systems including piping networks, faucets, water heaters, sanitary fittings, and drainage lines.
- Repair and replace plumbing components while ensuring proper water pressure, flow efficiency, and drainage performance.
- Execute all electrical and plumbing activities in accordance with applicable safety regulations, statutory codes, and building standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or maintenance issues related to electrical and plumbing systems.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to complete assignments effectively and within designated timelines.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and long-term reliability of systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational certification in electrical or plumbing trades is advantageous.
- Proven hands-on experience in both electrical and plumbing works within maintenance or construction environments.
- Sound knowledge of safety procedures, relevant codes, and regulatory standards governing electrical and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within a team setting.
