Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician cum Supervisor with strong petrochemical plant experience to oversee electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and supervision of site activities in a factory environment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in hazardous areas and ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical systems in compliance with plant and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities within the petrochemical plant.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution boards, panels, motors, and control systems.
• Handle electrical equipment in hazardous (ATEX-classified) areas, ensuring full safety compliance.
• Support operation and maintenance of laboratory and filling station electronic equipment.
• Work with coupled motors and integrated gear systems.
• Assist with PLC, SCADA, and plant instrumentation-related electrical works.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, including confined space entry and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Lead and coordinate technicians, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer or Electrical Diploma (mandatory).
• UAE work experience required.
• Willingness to work in a factory/plant atmosphere.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a petrochemical or manufacturing plant.
• Valid Hazardous Area Certification and safety training (Confined Space Entry, LOTO, etc.).
• Strong understanding of ATEX classifications.
• Good working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and plant instruments.
• Experience with electrical distribution boards installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Sound knowledge of electronic equipment used in laboratories and filling stations.
• Physically fit to work in high-temperature environments, at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Strong supervisory and troubleshooting skills.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 3,500 – 4,000 (depending on experience)
• Accommodation: Shared accommodation provided

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
