Job Title: Electrician in Maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in panels, motors, wiring, switches, control systems, and lighting.
• Perform installation and maintenance of electrical equipment (LT/HT panels, MCC, distribution boards, cables, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies during maintenance activities.
• Support plant operations by minimizing downtime through quick fault finding and corrective actions.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, logbooks, and spare parts usage.
• Coordinate with production, mechanical, and utility teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in energy conservation initiatives and implement efficiency improvements.
• Guide junior technicians/electricians when required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and circuits.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting AC/DC motors, starters, drives, and PLC panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety practices, lock-out/tag-out, and PPE usage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
