Electrician [Moscow, Russia]

Key responsibilities

• Installation: Install electrical systems, wiring, lighting, control systems, and other electrical equipment according to plans and schematics.
• Maintenance and Repair: Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely. This includes tasks like replacing parts, fixing circuits, and servicing equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using various tools like voltmeters, ammeters, and other testing equipment.
• Planning and Design: Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts and pathways.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Mitigate any identified safety hazards.
• Documentation: Complete work orders, document the work performed, and track materials used.
• Collaboration: Work with other electricians, contractors, and team members on various projects.

Essential skills and qualifications

• Strong practical skills with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety codes.
• Ability to work methodically with great attention to detail.
• Capability to work in various conditions, including at heights or in tight spaces.
• Good physical condition, including the ability to distinguish colors and lift heavy objects.
