Low-Voltage Technician [Moscow, Russia]

Key responsibilities

• Installation: Install low-voltage equipment and wiring, connecting components and running cables through walls, ceilings, or conduits according to blueprints and specifications.
• Maintenance and repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair faulty systems, and upgrade hardware and software as needed.
• Testing and configuration: Test systems for functionality and proper configuration, ensuring they meet all standards and requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain service records and complete work orders.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Inventory and ordering: Track and order necessary materials and parts.

Required skills and qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical standards, low-voltage systems, and wiring techniques (including fiber optics)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with tools and testing equipment
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
• Physical fitness to perform tasks like climbing ladders and bending
