Electricians in the hotel industry play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems, providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Their primary responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

- Installing and Maintaining Electrical Systems: Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.

- Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units. Perform effective troubleshooting to ensure electrical systems are functioning correctly.

- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety procedures and legal regulations. Possess thorough knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.

- Collaboration and Communication: Work with other electricians, construction teams, engineers, and clients to ensure effective electrical installations and maintenance. Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.

- Preventive Maintenance: Routinely inspect and replace old wiring and insulated cables, clean circuits, and perform other maintenance tasks to prevent system breakdowns.

To excel in this role, electricians should possess:

- Proven Experience: Strong technical knowledge and experience working with electrical systems, tools, and safety regulations.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to work long shifts, overnight, and in confined spaces.

- Critical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.

Typically, a diploma in relevant vocational training or a successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician is required. A valid license to practice the profession is also necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
