Location: Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX to start* (*National travel required starting in January 2026)

Contract Duration: indefinite/permanent position

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-10 hour days (while in TX) 60 hours/wk when on road

Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring Electro-Mechanical Conveyor Techs local to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area to start work immediately. The position involves installing letter sorters in multiple USPS across the country. This role requires local candidates who can commute back and forth daily to start. National travel will begin January of 2026.

Electro-Mechanical Conveyor Tech Key Responsibilities:

• Work on letter sorter machines in the shop to start and become familiar with the system
• Installing letter sorters in various USPS facilities across the U.S.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Electro-Mechanical Conveyor Tech Key Qualifications:

• No felonies ever (federal job)
• USPS conveyor install/maintenance experience is a preferred but not required.
• Experience working with/installing letter sorting machines a PLUS
• Experience with Dematic, Korber, Siemens, Honeywell a PLUS
• USPS or Pitney Bowes experience a PLUS
• Some electrical and mechanical background both are required
• Must possess basic hand tools and standard PPE.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass drug screen and extensive background check.
• Local to Dallas/Ft. Worth area (no relocation assistance).

Electro-Mechanical Conveyor Tech Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $35/hr for qualified candidates
• Schedule: Mon-Fr 8-10 hours/day
• Weekly pay via direct deposit.
• Benefits: Comprehensive medical/dental to start
• All travel (hotel/car) paid for by contractor
• $69/day per diem for food

Once hired on directly...

• Benefits available after 30 days- Vision, Dental and Medical
• 401K 100% match up to 3%, 50% match from 3-5%
• $5,250/yr tuition reimbursement available
• Weekend Pay: 1.5X on Sat and Sun (with min 30/hrs worked in the week)
• Over 40/hrs: 1.5 for all hours
• After 90 days: 120/hours of PTO

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour
