ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEERS

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician / Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician / Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to the entire lifecycle of our specialized equipment and systems—from initial research and design development to custom manufacturing, assembly, and long-term technical support. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of electrical and mechanical expertise, a hands-on approach to fabrication, and excellent problem-solving skills for system analysis and calibration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research, Design & Development

Assist in the research and design development of new electro-mechanical systems and specialized tools.

Interpret, update, and work from complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

2. Manufacturing & Custom Fabrication

Assemble, wire, and build custom electro-mechanical machinery, including winch drums (carbon steel and non-magnetic steel) and specialized tools.

Perform precise fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly tasks using standard workshop tools and equipment.

Ensure all manufactured and custom-built units adhere strictly to engineering specifications and quality standards.

3. Calibration, System Analysis & Testing

Conduct rigorous calibration and system analysis on electro-mechanical equipment to ensure precise operational performance.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults, mechanical misalignments, or software/control interface issues during testing.

4. Restoration, Modification & Maintenance

Execute restoration, modification, and reconfigurations on existing or legacy machinery to upgrade performance or meet updated client requirements.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and overhauls on workshop tools and equipment.

5. Technical Support & Customer Service

Provide high-level technical support, troubleshooting advice, and documentation to internal teams and external clients.

Document technical procedures, calibration logs, and test results accurately.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Associate degree, diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a highly related technical field.

Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, heavy machinery manufacturing, or industrial equipment maintenance (experience with oilfield/wireline equipment or heavy winches is a significant advantage).

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.

Hands-on experience with machining, metal fabrication, and welding (specifically working with carbon steel and non-magnetic steel).

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, calibration software, and system analysis equipment.

Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

Work Location: In person
