As an Automation Engineering Senior Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and advancing our pharmacy automation systems. Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced maintenance and service on automated pharmacy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems using technical drawings and schematics.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty electrical components (motors, controllers, circuit boards, power supplies, IO modules).
  • Repair and maintain mechanical systems (gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, robots, pneumatic components).
  • Execute equipment modifications and upgrades; help manage spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure reliability of automation equipment through preventive, corrective, and emergency work orders.
  • Monitor system performance with inspections, diagnostic tools, and monitoring equipment.
  • Document all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS - MAXIMO).
  • Complete required training for compliance and skill development.
  • Occasionally travel to other sites or vendor locations for training.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical systems (including use of meters).
  • Experience with motors, motor controllers, and variable frequency drives.
  • Ability to repair, set up, and tune complex mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.
  • Skilled use of tools and adherence to repair procedures for precision electro-mechanical machinery.
  • Practical knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems and CMMS.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and a rotating shift schedule.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.

Shift Schedule

  • 2-week rotation:
    • Week 1: Mon/Tues/Fri 5AM–5PM; Sat 5AM–3:30PM (46 hours)
    • Week 2: Sun 5AM–3:30PM; Wed/Thurs 5AM–5PM (34 hours)

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
