Job Description:

Role Summary

Responsible for the installation, fusion, and repair of HDPE pipelines using electrofusion and/or butt fusion methods while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrofusion and butt fusion on HDPE pipes and fittings.
• Prepare, align, and clean pipe surfaces prior to fusion.
• Set up, operate, and maintain fusion equipment.
• Inspect joints visually and mechanically for quality.
• Record fusion data and maintain accurate documentation.
• Read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and use proper PPE.
• Assist with pipe handling and general site tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment or joint issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 1+ year experience in HDPE fusion or pipe installation.
• Electrofusion and/or butt fusion certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA/safety training (a plus).

• Knowledge of fusion techniques and materials.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit for field work (lifting, bending, outdoor conditions).

Work Environment

• Outdoor field or construction sites.
• Exposure to weather and physical labor.
• May require travel and overtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RO450.000 - RO500.000 per month
