Electronic Engineer (Wireless Networks)

Job Type: Full-Time.

Location: Lahore, Pakistan.

Pay: 325,000.00 (PKR) - 400,000.00 (PKR) per month

Role Descriptions:

We are seeking a technically strong Electronic Engineer (Wireless Networks) with expertise in routers, MiFi devices, and 4G/5G technologies. This role focuses on owning the technical knowledge, support, and continuous improvement of private-label networking products sourced from manufacturers and marketed under our brand.

This is not a hardware design role; instead, it emphasizes product-level expertise, advanced technical support, carrier compatibility analysis, and collaboration with manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will work closely with regional carriers and partners to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and interoperability across diverse network environments.

· Serve as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and manufacturers to ensure product quality, usability, and long-term market success.

· Strong understanding of cellular network fundamentals including 4G LTE and 5G.

· Hands-on experience with UE, routers, and CPE devices in commercial and private fixed wireless networks.

· Ability to troubleshoot cellular connectivity issues and support device customization based on customer requirements.

· Knowledge of wireless core network components and their interaction with access networks.

· Understanding of embedded product development frameworks and product lifecycles.

· Experience with CWMP TR-069 protocol integration, device management, KPI reporting, and FOTA firmware upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain vendor and industry certifications and stay updated with emerging wireless technologies and solutions.

· Analyse QXDM/MTK Wireshark logs, KPIs, and field data to troubleshoot and resolve complex cellular and networking issues.

· Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in UE design, testing, validation, and deployment activities.

· Collaborate with R&D teams, vendors, customers, and internal engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.

· Support sales and marketing teams during pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and assisting with proposals.

· Manage technical resources, timelines, and costs while aligning execution with business objectives and product delivery goals.

· Engage with key customers to ensure successful implementation, service delivery, and achievement of performance KPIs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field required). Top Engineering Universities of Pakistan will be preferred.

Additional Preferences:

· Knowledge of 3GPP LTE/5G protocols, TCP/IP, VPN, and network configuration.

· Familiarity with CBRS/FCC requirements, PTCRB or GCF device certification processes.

· Experience working with wireless carriers and OEM/private-label networking products.

· Understanding of carrier certification processes and firmware environments.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

· Effective communication with manufacturers, vendors, and customers.

· Ability to support multi-carrier product reliability and technical support excellence.

Device Management and Protocols:

· Remote management of routers, MiFi, and 4G/5G CPE devices

· Experience with TR-069/TR-369 (ACS), SNMP, MQTT, and RESTful APIs

· SIM/eSIM provisioning, activation, and carrier integration workflows

· OTA firmware upgrades, configuration profiles, and rollback handling

· Advanced troubleshooting using logs, packet captures, and diagnostics

Experience & Competency Profile:

· 5+ years of progressive experience including manager level roles and team management.
