Position Overview:

The Electronics / Calibration Technician will be responsible for the testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of electronic instruments and equipment used in projects, laboratories, or industrial sites. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, transmitters, flow meters, and other electronic devices.
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements of defective components.
  • Maintain calibration records, test certificates, and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Ensure that all instruments meet required accuracy and compliance standards.
  • Support setup, installation, and troubleshooting of electronic and control systems at site or workshop.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance schedules and maintain tool calibration schedules.
  • Follow company and industry safety standards during testing and equipment handling.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC and Engineering teams for technical verification.
  • Keep updated with new calibration techniques and tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1–2 years of experience in calibration or electronic maintenance (preferably in industrial or construction settings).
  • Knowledge of calibration standards (ISO/IEC 17025 preferred).
  • Hands-on experience using calibration tools and instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry, calibration software).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
