Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Repair Specialist to diagnose, repair, and calibrate advanced safety and monitoring systems for heavy equipment and commercial vehicles. You will focus on Proximity Warning Alert Systems (PWAS), Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Load Moment Indicators (LMI), and other Low Voltage (LV) electronic systems — including the full portfolio of products represented by Perfect Vision.
Your expertise will ensure the reliability and accuracy of critical safety devices used across construction, logistics, and industrial sectors in the Kingdom.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnosis & Board-Level Repair
- Perform fault isolation and component-level repair on ECUs, camera modules, radar units, display panels, and sensor interfaces for PWAS, DMS, LMI, and LV systems.
- Execute micro-soldering, BGA reballing, connector replacement, and flex cable repair on multi-layer PCBs.
Calibration & Performance Verification
- Calibrate Load Moment Indicators (angle sensors, pressure transducers, length encoders) using OEM software and load simulation tools.
- Align proximity radar/camera systems and driver-monitoring IR cameras to ensure accurate obstacle detection and driver fatigue alerts.
System Integration & CAN Bus Diagnostics
- Troubleshoot CAN/J1939 communication faults, update firmware, and validate system behaviour post-repair.
- Use diagnostic tools (CANalyzer, PCAN-View, OEM scan tools) to interpret DTCs and live data.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain detailed repair records, root cause analysis (RCA) logs, and contribute to technical bulletins.
- Identify recurring failure modes and recommend design-for-repair (DFR) enhancements.
Inventory & Spare Parts Management
- Manage critical spares (radar heads, load cells, IR cameras, display boards) to meet repair turnaround targets.
Key Product Components (Perfect Vision KSA Portfolio)
- PWAS (Proximity Warning Alert Systems): Ultrasonic sensors, 24GHz/77GHz radar obstacle detectors, LED warning beacons, and audible alarms.
- DMS (Driver Monitoring Systems): Driver-facing cameras, infrared illuminators, fatigue recognition ECUs, and in-cab display units.
- LMI (Load Moment Indicators): Load cells, boom angle sensors, telescopic length encoders, pressure transducers, and color graphic displays with overload cut-off.
- Other LV Systems: 360° surround-view camera systems, blind-spot detection radars, backup alarms, telematics gateways, and harness assemblies.
Qualifications & SkillsBackground
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Electronics / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years hands-on repair of automotive or heavy-equipment electronics; exposure to ADAS, telematics, or crane safety systems preferred.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in reading schematics and PCB layouts.
- Advanced soldering/rework skills (JBC, Pace, hot-air stations).
- Working knowledge of CAN bus (J1939), LIN, and LVDS.
- Familiar with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multi-meters.
Soft Skills
- Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and document work clearly.
