ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a full time ET III- Electronic Industrial Controls Technician to support our government customer program in Wichita Falls, Texas. This role is an onsite position.

Overview
Installs, overhauls, repairs, fabricates, and/or modifies electronically and pneumatically controlled industrial systems, components and sub-assemblies. Works on multiple axis numerically controlled machine tools with continuous path or contouring control capability. Centralized Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS), which uses special purpose, dedicated computers to store operating parameters and initiate adjustments. Must be able to maintain multiple types of Honeywell controls such as R7044, XL 5000, XL8000, and Tridium Niagra plus types of EMCS monitoring/controlling systems.

Major Job Activities Description of % of Time Spent
1. Responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of multiple controls
repair or replacement. Replaces electrical motors and Variable Frequency Drives,
operators, etc. 20%
2. Troubleshoots/replaces and programs Variable air volume units (VAV) and M-cels. 20%
3. Performs pretest, operational (functional) and final testing; final tuning; alignment; and/or
calibration of highly complex electronic systems and components. 15%
4. Works with EMCS to ensure HVAC systems are monitored and controlled by EMCS. 15%
5. Performs maintenance on electronic control systems to include disassembly, cleaning,
reassembly and calibration. 15%
6. Other duties as assigned to meet mission and customer requirements. 15%

Skills

• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all EMCS control systems.
• Possess strong attention to detail and ability to execute multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to interact with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
• Must have the ability to work extended periods of times on a computer.
• Must be able to Program, maintain and operate All EMCS monitored/control systems R7044, XL5000, XL8000 Plus and Tridium Niagra.

Qualifications

• Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Ten (10) years’ Honeywell and other Controls experience. Must be able to maintain and operate EMCS monitored/control systems R7044, XL5000, XL8000 Plus and Tridium Niagra. Basic Computer literacy.

Pay Rate: $37.64 per hour
