We are seeking an experienced
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist
to support advanced cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, hemodynamics, and EP lab equipment, with the ability to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and procedural support.
Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.

Operate and monitor EP lab equipment, recording systems, and cardiac mapping technologies.

Perform baseline measurements, arrhythmia induction, and cardiac rhythm monitoring during procedures.

Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and electrophysiologic data throughout procedures.

Prepare patients and equipment for EP studies, ablations, and device-related procedures.

Ensure accurate documentation of procedural data and patient information.

Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control, radiation safety, and patient safety standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cardiovascular team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.

Troubleshoot EP lab equipment and assist with equipment maintenance and quality control.

Participate in patient monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
Qualifications

Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.

RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification strongly preferred; RCIS or IBHRE certification preferred.

Minimum two (2) years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required.

Experience with EP lab devices, equipment, procedural workflows, arrhythmia induction, and baseline electrophysiology measurements.

Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and cardiac rhythm management.

Skilled in EP Lab procedures, cardiac rhythm monitoring, cardiac mapping systems, patient monitoring, and procedural documentation.

Proficient in infection control practices, patient safety standards, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Epic EMR experience and previous travel healthcare experience are preferred.

Ideal candidate is a detail-oriented EP Lab Technologist with advanced electrophysiology expertise, strong technical and procedural skills, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a specialized cardiovascular setting.

Shift is an 8-hour day (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 04:00 PM), 40 hrs/week

Pay Range for Locals: $69 - $74 per hour

Pay Range for Travelers: $3,350 - $3,400 per week
