Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment for students, encouraging their academic and personal growth. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and utilizing various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles. The teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community to support the development of each child.
Duties including but not limited to
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to different learning abilities.
- Teach core subjects including but not limited to literacy, math, and physical education while integrating technology into the classroom.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students with special needs and those requiring early intervention.
- Mentor students in their academic pursuits and personal development.
- Create and Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress.
- Responsible for keeping the classroom, bathroom, and common areas clean, disinfected, and organized at all times.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators in curriculum development and classroom management strategies.
- Organize library services and resources to enhance literacy education.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Skills
- Strong proofreading and writing skills for effective communication.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and tutoring strategies.
- Familiarity with teaching methodologies such as Montessori or special education practices.
- Ability to utilize learning technology effectively in lesson planning.
- Experience working with students, including those on the autism spectrum or requiring additional support.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff members.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $48,780.75 per year
