Job Summary:

Make a difference in a students life! We are looking for an Elementary Education Tutor for one on one in home tutoring, located about 5 minutes from Kohl's on Westminster Drive.

Are you currently attending college? We prefer Elementary Education majors.

Sessions will be two times per week between 4 and 6 PM.

Tutoring looks great on a resume and it is very rewarding when your students achieve the results they want.

Responsibilities:

Help a student learn multiple elementary subjects
Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Offer guidance and support to help students improve their test-taking skills
Create a positive and engaging learning environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in higher education teaching or tutoring is preferred
Strong knowledge and expertise in the subjects mentioned above
GPA of 3.2 or higher if current student
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Patience and the ability to motivate students to achieve their academic goals
