Elementary School Psychologist

Overview

Dynamic Therapy is seeking a qualified and collaborative School Psychologist to support school-based services. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, support eligibility determinations, and collaborate with school teams to ensure students receive appropriate services and interventions.

This position is ideal for a professional who is experienced in working within school systems and understands compliance with special education regulations while supporting student success academically, behaviorally, and socially.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Analyze assessment data to determine eligibility for special education services under IDEA and Section 504
• Prepare clear, detailed psychological reports with strengths, needs, and recommendations
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student outcomes
• Conduct classroom observations and gather data to inform evaluation and intervention planning
• Provide evidence-based recommendations for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
• Support the RTI/MTSS process through data review and intervention recommendations
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
• Experience conducting school-based psychological evaluations
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and special education eligibility processes
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessments
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in K–12 school settings
• Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks
• Experience supporting diverse student populations

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
