Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons across core subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
• Support classroom management by implementing behavior management strategies and creating a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
• Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and individual student needs, including those with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorders.
• Incorporate learning technology and educational resources to enhance instructional effectiveness and student engagement.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to students who need additional support in literacy education, math, or early childhood development.
• Participate in curriculum development initiatives and contribute innovative ideas for classroom activities that promote creativity and critical thinking.
• Assist with standardized testing preparations, grading, and data analysis to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
• Support early intervention strategies and collaborate with specialists in library services or private school settings to enrich the educational experience.

Qualifications

• Prior classroom experience working with children in elementary settings or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools and instructional software used in modern classrooms.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and literacy education is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities such as mentoring peers or supporting classroom activities.
• Certification or coursework in special education, Montessori methods, or early intervention is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,545.09 - $52,238.29 per year
