Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled Elementary Teacher for grades 3-5 who is passionate about academic excellence and forming students in the Catholic faith. We are looking for an educator who creates a positive, engaging classroom where students grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards for upper elementary students (Grades 3-5).
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled classroom environment.
• Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and classroom life.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school leadership.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
• Maintain positive classroom management that encourages respect, responsibility, and compassion.
• Participate in school Masses, faith formation activities, faculty meetings, and the life of the school community.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care and preschool experience.
• Expertise in classroom management, behavior management, and conflict resolution within diverse classroom settings.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning tailored for young children.
• Ability to analyze student performance data effectively to inform instruction and support continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms, LMS tools, and educational compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability in tutoring, academic advising, or private school environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field preferred.
• Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Practicing Catholic preferred, or a willingness to support and uphold the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to professional growth.
• Passion for helping children develop academically, spiritually, and personally.
