Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and physical education.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management, inclusivity, and respect among students.
- Utilize learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding and participation.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and ongoing assessments.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements or autism spectrum disorder.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support early intervention strategies and holistic child development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral incidents while ensuring compliance with education administration policies.
- Mentor new teachers or interns by sharing best practices in classroom management, curriculum development, and instructional techniques.
Skills
- Proven experience in classroom management and creating engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Expertise in curriculum development for early childhood education, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education.
- Knowledge of learning technology tools and digital resources to support modern teaching methods.
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Experience with standardized testing procedures and data analysis to inform instructional decisions.
- Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative educational philosophies is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills for report writing, lesson documentation, and parent communication.
- Skills in behavior management techniques that promote positive classroom environments.

Pay: $53,649.00 - $80,000.00 per year
