POSITION TITLE: Elementary Teaching Position(s)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time Positions starting 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid and current State of Michigan teaching certificate.
• Certifications and qualifications necessary to teach the curricular area(s) pursued.
• Demonstrated successful classroom experience and student teaching.
• Interest and experience in leading extracurricular activities.
• Familiarity with Content Standards.
• Familiarity with PBIS, Restorative Practices.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Develop and administer grade level curriculum consistent with the school’s goals and objectives.
• Provide an exciting and safe learning environment that enables a high level of student growth

and achievement.

• Effective communication with students, staff, administration, parents and community

members.

• Strong computer literacy/skills and data collection methods.
• Consistent, accurate, and timely record keeping skills.
• Keen awareness of responsibilities for confidentiality and professionalism.
• Participate in professional development programs and implement best practice teaching

methods. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
