We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and diagnosis of elevators, escalators, and related mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a high level of commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on passenger and freight elevators.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Conduct corrective maintenance and safety tests as per company standards and industry regulations.
• Install elevators and escalators according to manufacturer specifications and engineering drawings.
• Replace faulty components such as motors, controllers, sensors, cables, and switches.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards (local codes and OSHA).
• Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and completed work.
• Respond to emergency calls for breakdowns and service requests.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in ongoing training and technical upgrading.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certificate/diploma preferred.
• Proven experience as an elevator technician or related mechanical/electrical role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Working Conditions

• Field‑based role requiring frequent travel between job sites.
• Work hours may include nights, weekends, and emergency call‑outs.
• Physical work including climbing, lifting, and standing.
