Elevator Service Technician/ Junior Engineer

Job Summary
Elevator service technicians are primarily responsible for all preventative maintenance and repair work on elevators. The required would be involved in various components of the elevator system/ elevator mechanics such as to install, maintain, and fix different types of elevators. Each type of work installation, maintenance, and repair requires a different skillset, Therefore who will be working in our organization will specialize in every aspect of an elevator.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Read blueprints to determine the equipment needed for installation or repair
• Install or repair elevator doors, cables, motors, and control systems
• Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systems
• Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications
• Keep service records of all maintenance and repair tasks
• Examine, maintain, and repair elevators as well as other conveyance types.
• Determine the need for and perform major overhaul or replacement of defective equipment.
• Perform proper timekeeping and accounting of materials and expenses for assigned projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Follow appropriate maintenance and service procedures.
• Meet and assist with third-party municipal inspections.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Looking for graduates with any electrical field background and freshers are most welcome.
