Job Description:

1. Before trip Bus Audits
  • Conduct comprehensive Mechanical audits of buses. Fill Checklist Daily, Weekly, and Monthly.
  • Check the condition of brakes, accelerators, OBD Alarms, Bus AC, Radiator, Oil Condition, Electricals, Alternator, and Battery based on the frequency of checking.
  • Check Seat related maintenance and ticket resolution (Seat Recliner and Sliding Checking)

2. Mechanical Issue Resolution
  • Manage and resolve tickets raised by customers by thoroughly addressing their concerns and implementing corrective actions.
  • Repair the mechanical issues identified during the audits.
  • Ensure the Mechanical/Electrical issues are resolved on time and no trip cancellation is done.
  • Handover and follow-up for the major mechanical issues identified to OEM team.
  • Oversee daily maintenance activities planned at night. Follow up with the OEM maintenance team for timely repair/resolution of mechanical issues.

3. Coordination with Vendor teams
  • Work closely with the cleaning team to ensure all buses meet high standards of cleanliness.
  • Set clear expectations and guidelines for the cleaning team to maintain consistent quality across the fleet.
  • Oversee the Greasing activity and monitor the productivity of the greasing vendor.
  • Prioritize the repairing of the buses according to the criticality of the issue.
  • Coordinate and follow up with the Bus operator supervisor for Bus servicing and repair.

4. Coordination with the Branding Team
  • Collaborate with the branding team to maintain and update bus branding as required.
  • Schedule and oversee branding maintenance to ensure timely and accurate implementation.

5. Audit Visits to Different Locations
  • Conduct regular visits to various locations to audit the cleanliness and maintenance of all aspects of the buses.
  • Ensure that high cleaning standards are consistently maintained across all buses in the fleet.

6. Record Keeping
  • Maintain detailed records of bus audits, cleaning activities, and branding updates.

7. Shift Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for both day and night shifts, as per the roster.
  • Ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards across all shifts.
  • Make and share shift end reports and ensure 100% handover of issues to next shift member.

Qualification:
  • 0-3 years of experience in the maintenance of diesel engine buses (Suspension, Engine, Radiator, AC, Seats, Battery, Steering, Gearbox)
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Bus/Truck maintenance
  • Diesel Mechanic as ITI education
  • Knowledge of IC engines
