ELV Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled ELV Draughtsman in preparing detailed design and shop drawings for CCTV, Access Control, and other ELV systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and possess solid knowledge of low voltage system layouts, cable routing, and coordination with other services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop ELV system drawings, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and related systems.
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration of ELV systems.
• Update and maintain drawing files, ensuring version control and accuracy of all documentation.
• Review project specifications and assist in design revisions or modifications as required.
• Support the project team in material take-offs, documentation, and submittals related to ELV works.
• Ensure all drawings comply with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and company drafting standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an ELV Draftsman in Doha or GCC region.
• Proven experience in CCTV and Access Control system drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and familiar with other drafting software tools.
• Knowledge of ELV system components, wiring details, and installation methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills in English.
• Experience with fire alarm, PA, BMS, and other ELV systems is an advantage.
• Familiar with MEP coordination drawings.
