ELV Engineer

We are seeking an experienced ELV Engineer with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in ELV systems, standards, and government authority coordination. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, system performance, and coordination with contractors and authorities.

Key Responsibilities1. Knowledge of Standards and Regulations

• Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of industry standards and international guidelines such as NFPA, ISO, BS, and local regulations including QCS.
• Possess strong working knowledge of Qatar Civil Defense (QCD) and Ministry of Interior (MOI – SSD) regulations related to:
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Fire Fighting Systems
• CCTV & Security Systems
• Have hands-on experience in Fire Alarm, CCTV, Security Systems, Lighting Control Systems, Turnstiles / E-Gates, BMS, and FM200 suppression systems.
• Well versed in installation, integration, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems.

2. Technical Coordination

• Ensure all AMC contractors hold valid Permit to Work (PTW) and comply with safety requirements within the parks/facilities.
• Ensure all Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities are properly recorded in the CMMS and closed within agreed timelines.

3. Government Agency Inspections

• Prepare facilities and systems for MOI and QCD inspections.
• Ensure system health, documentation, and all inspection prerequisites are in place.
• Attend inspections alongside required AMC specialists and coordinate necessary actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / ELV Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in ELV systems within Qatar.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with government authorities.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
