The ELV Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems ensuring that all installations meet technical standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review detailed design plans, schematics, and layouts for ELV systems.
- Oversee the installation of ELV systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and on-site teams during the commissioning process.
- Provide technical support for installed systems and perform regular maintenance checks.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all ELV installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Manage project timelines and resources related to ELV system implementations.
- Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users and team.
- Address client concerns and propose system upgrades or modifications as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in installing, and maintaining ELV systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to low voltage systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preference:
- Certification or training in ELV systems.
- Valid UAE Driving License.
