ELV Engineer (MOI / SSD Licensed)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced ELV Engineer holding a valid MOI / SSD license to lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of ELV and security systems for regulated and high-security projects. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and full compliance with MOI / SSD standards and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of ELV and security systems in compliance with MOI / SSD requirements
  • Design, engineer, and implement systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, SMATV, PA, and structured cabling
  • Conduct site surveys, security risk assessments, and system audits as per authority guidelines
  • Prepare and review ELV drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, and authority approval documents
  • Liaise with consultants, and clients for design approvals and inspections
  • Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and final system handover
  • Provide technical leadership to engineers and site technicians
  • Troubleshoot complex ELV and security system issues and ensure minimal downtime
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation, as-built drawings, and compliance reports

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline
  • Valid MOI / SSD License (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV and security systems engineering
  • Proven experience working on MOI / SSD-regulated projects

Technical Expertise

  • MOI / SSD compliant CCTV & VMS systems
  • Access Control Systems (biometric, RFID, card-based)
  • Intrusion Detection & Alarm Systems
  • Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)
  • Intercom, PA, SMATV, and system integration
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE)

Leadership & Professional Skills

  • Strong project management and team leadership abilities
  • Excellent coordination with authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and compliance-driven mindset
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturer certifications (CCTV, Access Control, Networking)
  • Experience in government, critical infrastructure, or high-security facilities
  • Familiarity with regional authority standards and international best practices
