Job Summary:

The ELV Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales phase of the project lifecycle. This includes preparing technical proposals, solution designs, drawings, compliance documentation, and cost estimations for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, IPTV, and others. The role combines technical expertise with client engagement, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client requirements and project specifications (tenders, RFQs, RFPs) to propose suitable ELV solutions.
  • Design and engineer integrated ELV systems that align with client needs and budget.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, including BOMs, compliance statements, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Support the sales team with product presentations, technical clarifications, and solution demonstrations to clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing, product data sheets, and solution alignment.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with relevant international standards (BS, EN, NFPA, ANSI, etc.).
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site surveys, and technical discussions as needed.
  • Provide technical documentation and support during the handover to the project implementation team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ELV products, technologies, and trends in the market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and technical partners.
  • Respond to post-submission queries, clarifications, and value engineering requests from clients or consultants.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communications Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in ELV systems pre-sales, design, or solution engineering.
  • Strong understanding of ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, SCS, PA, IPTV, etc.).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and integration requirements.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and design tools (e.g., Visio, EPLAN).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both technical and commercial contexts.
  • Experience in preparing technical proposals, BOQs, and compliance documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
