ELV Project Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution

• Manage day-to-day ELV project activities from initiation to handover.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and contracts.
• Prepare shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines.

Technical Coordination

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Intercom Systems
• SMATV/IPTV Systems
• Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Gate Barriers & Parking Systems
• BMS Integration (where applicable)
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations (e.g., Civil Defense, SIRA, etc. where applicable).
• Provide technical support to site supervisors and technicians.

Site & Resource Management

• Supervise site teams and subcontractors.
• Plan manpower and material requirements.
• Coordinate with MEP, Civil, and other trades to avoid clashes.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Provide project status updates and progress reports.
• Resolve technical issues and site challenges proactively.

Commercial & Documentation

• Assist in cost control and variation management.
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation.
• Support project handover, snag rectification, and final documentation submission.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in ELV project execution (UAE experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems design and implementation.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations (SIRA, ADMCC, DU, Etisalat etc. preferred).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
