Wet Utility Design Engineer (TAQA Experience Required)

We would like to initiate the recruitment process for a Wet Utility Design Engineer to join our team at Pioneer Engineering Consultancy – Abu Dhabi. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in wet utility design, with demonstrated experience working on projects coordinated and approved by TAQA.

Position: Wet Utility Design Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in wet utility design (water supply, sewer, stormwater, irrigation networks).
• Strong experience in preparing designs in compliance with TAQA standards and submission procedures.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi local authorities’ regulations and approval processes.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS).
• Experience in preparing hydraulic calculations, design reports, BOQs, and authority submission packages.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design drawings and calculations for wet utility networks.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA and other relevant authority standards.
• Coordinate with authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
• Review and respond to authority comments and technical queries.
• Support project teams during design and construction stages.
