Role Purpose:
Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems projects within MEP scope, ensuring compliance with design specifications, timelines, and quality standards, with a strong focus on data center infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ELV systems projects including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, Structured Cabling, and Data Center solutions.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs for ELV systems.
- Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, and material requisitions.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other MEP teams for system integration.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems at site.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (NFPA, BS, EN).
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure timely completion.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions during execution.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors for ELV-related works.
- Maintain accurate documentation for handover and client approval.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ELV systems within MEP projects, including at least 1–2 years in Data Center projects.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems: CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, BMS, Structured Cabling, and Data Center infrastructure (racks, cabling, UPS integration).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ELV design software.
- Familiarity with international standards and local authority requirements.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Certifications:
- ELV System Certifications (Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, etc.)
- Data Center certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS) – Highly Preferred
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional).
