ELV Technician

• Install, terminate, and test ELV systems including:
• CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Intercom, BMS, Structured Cabling, SMATV, and related systems.
• Perform cable pulling, containment installation (trays, conduits, trunking), and equipment mounting.
• Conduct proper cable dressing, labeling, and routing per project standards.
• Assist engineers and supervisors in system configuration and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain ELV systems to ensure full functionality.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Ensure all installations are carried out safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare daily activity reports and update site progress.
• Support material management (tools, consumables, equipment, etc.).

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ELV system installation and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of ELV systems such as:
• CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, BMS, PA/BGM, Structured Cabling, SMATV, Intercom, etc.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, crimping tools, multimeters, and testing devices.
• Understanding of wiring layouts, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under supervision or independently.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and PPE usage.
