ELV Technician

Position: ELV Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled ELV professional to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of a wide range of ELV systems.

Key Responsibilities

As an ELV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining ELV systems, including:
• CCTV & IP Cameras
• Access Control Systems & Gate Barriers
• Time Attendance Systems
• Video Door Phones / Intercom Systems
• Structured Cabling (Fiber & Copper)
• SMATV, PA Systems, BGM
• Performing troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs on ELV systems
• Conducting preventive maintenance and system inspections
• Terminating, testing, and labeling Cat6 and Fiber Optic cables
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans
• Ensuring all installations meet safety, compliance, and quality standards
• Preparing job reports and updating supervisors on project progress
• Providing on-site technical support to clients when required

Requirements

• Diploma/Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• 2–4 years of ELV Technician experience in the UAE
• SIRA Certification is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and structured cabling
• Ability to configure NVR/DVR systems, IP cameras, and network devices
• Experience in fiber splicing and OTDR testing is a plus
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred
