Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems, including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barrier Systems, Intercom, SMATV, Audio-Visual (AV), Building Management Systems (BMS), Lighting Control, and Data Networks. The Senior ELV Technician will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality ELV solutions to our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

· Installation : Lead the installation of CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barrier Systems, Intercom, SMATV, Audio-Visual (AV), Building Management Systems (BMS), Lighting Control, and network cabling.

· Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and provide preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and reduce downtime.

· Team Supervision: Guide and supervise a team of technicians to ensure work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

· Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical advice, and ensure their satisfaction with our services.

· System Integration: Integrate various ELV systems to ensure seamless operation, including linking security systems, alarms, and other technologies.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs. Prepare detailed reports for management and clients.

· Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all work adheres to local regulatory and company standards, particularly with regard to safety and quality.

· Training & Development: Mentor junior technicians and provide training to ensure the continuous development of the team’s skills and knowledge.

· Site Coordination: Work closely with other contractors and engineers to coordinate tasks, ensuring smooth project execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ELV systems, with a strong background in installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA systems, data cabling, and other ELV systems. Experience with BMS and Lighting Control systems is an advantage.

· Certifications: Relevant certifications in ELV systems or related technologies are highly desirable.

· Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

· Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic or Hindi are a plus.

· Driver’s License: Valid UAE driver's license preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
