Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced General Electronics (ELV) Technician to carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems and electronic equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge in ELV maintenance, safety procedures, and troubleshooting within commercial, industrial, or airport environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and breakdown maintenance (BD) on ELV systems and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely restoration of systems with minimal operational disruption.
• Carry out safety isolation and LOTO (Lock Out / Tag Out) procedures as per safety standards.
• Supervise and guide technicians/tradesmen to ensure safe and quality completion of maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and documentation using MS Office applications.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, technical standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, stakeholders, and operational teams for maintenance planning and execution.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor or duty engineer.

ELV Systems Experience Required

Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least two of the following systems:

• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Public Address Systems
• Audio Visual Systems
• Car Park Management Systems
• X-Ray & Scanning Equipment

Qualification Requirements

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma in Industrial Training Institute (ITI) / Electronics / ELV Systems Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• IOSH Working Safely Certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics / ELV maintenance or similar environment.
• Experience in commercial buildings, airports, or large-scale facilities is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Good understanding of ELV systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication skills in English (oral & written).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of workplace health & safety standards.
