Email and SMS Marketing Coordinator

The Email & SMS Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end setup and deployment of email and SMS marketing campaigns, including one-time sends and automated flows. This role involves managing workflows within Braze, Shopify, Aftership, and Zendesk, including flow setup, personalization, A/B testing, and segmentation.

The coordinator will develop and maintain triggered lifecycle journeys such as welcome series, cart/checkout abandonment, win-back, and transactional flows, ensuring all communications are on-brand, mobile-optimized, and aligned with channel best practices. The coordinator will use GA4 and Braze analytics to measure campaign performance, monitor and troubleshoot data accuracy. Collaboration with the Performance team to define success metrics and improve funnel visibility is also essential.

Furthermore, the coordinator will work cross-functionally with Product, Web, Creative, Influencer, and Social teams to support launches, promotions, NPI, and lifecycle programs, maintain QA processes and testing standards for all customer-facing communications, ensure compliance with email/SMS regulations, and stay up to date with new features and releases in Braze, mParticle, and GA4.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Own end-to-end planning, setup, and deployment of email and SMS marketing campaigns, including one-time sends and automated flows.
  • Manage all workflows within Braze/Magento/Aftership/Zendesk, including flows setup, personalization, A/B testing, and segmentation.
  • Develop and maintain triggered lifecycle journeys such as welcome series, cart/checkout abandonment, win-back, and transactional flows.
  • Ensure all communications are on-brand, mobile-optimized, and aligned with channel best practices.

Data, Segmentation & Targeting

  • Leverage mParticle to build and manage audience segments based on behavioral, transactional, and engagement data.
  • Create suppression logic and predictive segments (e.g., high-intent, churn-risk) using CDP-powered attributes.
  • Track and analyze user journey events across platforms to ensure accurate data flow between GA4, mParticle, and Braze.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Use GA4 and Braze analytics to measure email/SMS campaign performance (open rate, CTOR, CVR, LTV impact).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data accuracy between event tracking platforms and marketing attribution.
  • Build recurring performance dashboards or reports with insights to drive optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Performance team to define success metrics and improve funnel visibility.

Process & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Web, Creative, Influencer, and Social teams to support launches, promotions, NPI, and lifecycle programs.
  • Maintain QA processes and testing standards for all customer-facing communications.
  • Own compliance with email/SMS regulations (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR).
  • Stay up to date with new features and releases in Braze, mParticle, and GA4.
  • Monthly/Quarterly support with blog articles on company website and managing website content updates within the Contentful CMS (Landing Pages, PDP, Bug fixes) .

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing and e-commerce related roles
  • Gamer or gaming industry experience highly desired.
  • Familiarity with Braze, mParticle (or similar CDP), Monday.com, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to operate independently and effectively against competing priorities.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with good leadership and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
