Position Overview

YX Technology is seeking a high-caliber Email Infrastructure Director to lead the technical architecture and regional scaling of our Yxemail platform. Based in our specialized operations hub in the Al Khor Industrial Zone, you will be the primary authority on high-volume mail transport, server-side security, and global deliverability.

This role requires a unique blend of "deep-tech" engineering and executive operational management. You will oversee the physical and virtual infrastructure that powers mission-critical communications for our enterprise clients, ensuring 99.99% uptime and bulletproof data integrity within the Qatari regulatory framework.

Core Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Architecture: Define and execute the roadmap for scalable email server clusters, utilizing both on-premise hardware at Warehouse 45 and hybrid cloud environments.
• Protocol & Deliverability Excellence: Lead the optimization of SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 configurations. Direct the implementation of advanced authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI) to maintain elite sender reputation.
• Operational Oversight: Direct the daily activities of the systems engineering and NOC teams, ensuring seamless mail flow and rapid resolution of complex bounce or latency incidents.
• Security & Encryption: Establish and enforce rigorous end-to-end encryption standards (TLS/SSL) and anti-malware/anti-phishing protocols to protect corporate data assets.
• Systems Integration: Oversee the synchronization of Yxemail with external enterprise tools, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and custom API integrations.
• Data-Driven Leadership: Utilize advanced Excel automation (macros, XLOOKUP) and log analysis to monitor system throughput, storage trends, and hardware lifecycle.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all email infrastructure strictly adheres to Qatar’s National Cyber Security Strategy and international data privacy standards (GDPR/Swiss FADP).
• Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with global data center providers, hardware manufacturers, and transit partners.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 6 years in a directorial or senior leadership capacity within the telecommunications or SaaS sector.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Postfix, Exim, Microsoft Exchange, and Linux-based mail environments. Proficiency in BPO-style process optimization is highly valued.
• Language: Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic or Tagalog is a significant advantage for coordinating with local technical teams and regional stakeholders.
• Certifications: CISSP, MCSE (Messaging), or advanced cloud architecture certifications (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
