Job Summary

Source Kode Solutions is seeking a performance-driven Email Marketing Specialist to lead our email strategy across the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition to conversion. This role is critical to our B2C eCommerce growth, particularly in the UK market, and demands expertise in campaign planning, automation, content strategy, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience with platforms like Klaviyo and a deep understanding of how to turn email into a high-converting channel.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute strategic email marketing plans, including promotional blasts, lifecycle campaigns, and seasonal flows.

Define audience touchpoints, frequency, and timing based on customer journey mapping and behavioral triggers.

Content Creation & Optimization

Craft compelling copy and design engaging templates with clear CTAs, optimized for mobile and desktop.

Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure brand consistency and relevance.

Automation & Segmentation

Build and manage automated flows (welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase, win-back) using trigger-based logic.

Implement advanced segmentation strategies to personalize outreach and improve engagement.

Testing & Performance Analytics

Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, send times, content formats, and CTAs to maximize open rates and click-throughs.

Monitor KPIs including open rate, CTR, bounce rate, unsubscribe rate, and conversion rate using Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and Shopify analytics.

Engagement & Conversion

Strategize email cadence and frequency to maintain engagement without fatigue.

Drive measurable revenue through targeted campaigns and upsell/cross-sell strategies.

Compliance & Data Management

Ensure all communications comply with GDPR, PECR, and other relevant data protection regulations.

Maintain and grow a clean, permission-based email list.

Tool Integration & Channel Expansion

Leverage Shopify apps for email, SMS, push notifications, and influencer outreach.

Collaborate with paid media and retargeting teams to align email efforts with broader marketing funnels.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally within eCommerce or B2C environments.
• Proficiency in Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or HubSpot.
• Strong grasp of CRM integration, lead scoring, and customer segmentation.
• Excellent copywriting and content strategy skills.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify, and campaign performance reporting.
• Knowledge of GDPR and UK email marketing regulations.
• Experience with cold outreach and email funnels is a plus.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other lead-generation tools.
• Exposure to paid advertising and email retargeting strategies.
• Certifications in email marketing, digital marketing, or automation platforms.
